I would say that the concept of “platforms of Thought” has relevance here. How does one judge what is good/ right? One has to initially comprehend the meaning of bad, the feel of what is not right. Only then does the judgment of what is good hold well. A man who has enjoyed wealth all his life would find it difficult to comprehend the miseries of abject poverty. Hence the need for the good and bad, light and darkness, The Yin and the Yang, and more importantly the need to strike a balance between them, which would be in resonance with the vibrations of nature.
Man is the only animal which kills for nothing. All other creatures kill either for food, or in fear.
To “Anonymous’ – can I have a name/ number attached? Gives a visual effect to what you are typing in. One of the gifts of creation is the ability to dream, design on clouds – as long as you know how to make that castle stand – well – most of the times!!! – And you seem to have a wonderful sense of justice – Artha Shastra???

I take a bow at your humility for the'ode'. I agree with you in totality regarding the existence for a parameter to judge. Yet my quest is not to quest the existence, but to find a solution. There are times when I despise myself for being a part of the so called civilised world and helpless or rather say not brave enough to come forward and challenge what I accept as "right" over being "wrong". I made that statement because justice is not fair on earth: why then the hand that holds the strings to the puppet (that would be everything that the universe holds) does not intervene and set things right? I have always been very intrigued as to the similarities between most human gods. They all are single! :-) They preach to us about stress management, about doing yoga, about curtailing desires to achieve nirvana?? I think, the married are doing a pretty good job of balancing the day to day hassles, life throws at them. Unlike these human gods who have nothing else to do but meditate and preach, (they do not have to worry about inflation: now do they? Currently 11.05%) Religion is the best business to be in: It is a personal observation of mine. In the name of the unseen, all powerful hand that holds those strings, it is easy to play mind games. Personally, I can't be in a situation because it's convenient. It is my heart, not my head that is my compass, trusting that the backup is there. I subscribe to the following thought processes namely "Nobody has ever measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold." Zelda Fitzgerald. "Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, But great actions speak to all mankind."-- Emily P. Bissell. "Wait until it is night before saying that it has been a fine day." French Proverb. I can understand your right to know the face behind the voice "anonymous". What attracted me to your blog was your selfless approach to the concept of blogging which 99.9% have used for self-marketing and image building. It is very difficult to remain neutral when you are forced to choose sides, the ideal situation being to join the majority at that given point in time so as to avoid ex-communication. Give me time sir, haven't you heard the saying "sudden acquaintance leads to repentance"? Next time you have "dinner with her" let the glow of the candle not flicker cause of the 3 words "pay the bill" instead break into a song : Jabse terae nynaa mera nynau sae laagae re…. saawariya. A hopeless romantic am I sir..sorry about that..believe me she will "pay the bill"hahahaha When you can't find your way through the night:listen with your heart.. "Raindrops on Roses"..beautiful thought process: can imagine the clouds kissing the valley and gliding away to return tomorrow....
Dear Anony---
A romantic with a sense of justice!!! Are you a Virgo Libra Cusp? I am, not that it makes me either a romantic or one with any sense of justice, except mine!!!
Would the eyes flicker when the candles stop___? "kannum Kannum, thammil thammil"
Wonderful song - like a candle in the wind - broke many a heart.
Am a passionate water sign hahah "would the eyes flicker…." Why not? Eyes can speak volumes when the tongue goes mute, the legs go weak hahahah
At this point, the song in my lips would be…jab kise ki tharaf dil jhukane lagae, bath aakar juba par ruknae lagaee, ankhau, ankhau mae ikarar honae lagae, boldau gar tumhe pyaar honae lagae…hahhahah
And the second one would be "Dekha tuje jo yaar, dil mae bajee guitar..tanae tanae nan nanaa" hahhaha
Yup yup yup, a die-hard romantic lost in transition.
Not a blogger yet leaver of impressions!!!
If you have to believe in something, you might as well believe in love.I do.
Another entry recorded in my file 'grief': a positive one :-).
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me, you and everyone too [the last part I distorted :-)]
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world!!
I sure am a firm believer in justice and I do not let the colour of your skin, or up bringing get in the way of my judgement. I am fiercely grounded when it comes to rule books. A wrong is a wrong and two wrongs do not make a right. I also believe a social offender should never hold a position of respect in society. What is the point in someone staying nice all their life then? Just because the bad guy has turned over a new leaf doesn't give him more credibility over the all time saint! Have you heard of the story of the nail on the fence? The very fact that the bad guy understands at some point in time that goodness pays, goes to prove that he better be at the lower wrung and give the nice guys a chance so that the next generation knows the difference of good and evil. How else do you propose to inculcate a sense of goodness in our off springs? Charity begins at home we were taught. If that were true, then if I can help one child to reach his potential under fair play, then I would feel comfortable in my skin knowing that I am pursueing the right belief system.
Some things are better left unsaid. That is what helpless victims have to settle for with a slight twist "most things have to be left unsaid". The so called custodians of justice say "move on", it is not the end of life". What would they know until they have to confront a vigilante who does a credible job without taking home a salary for his duty??
Do not worry: I shall not leave any offensive comments. I never get personal. I do believe that there is no point in degrading someone for his/her piece of work should I find it revolting as the very presence of such works online proves what an upbringing they must have had. Good breeding shows: and though am not an expert in character judgement, failures have helped to narrow down on odd balls. To use technology to air social issues or present distorted facts of a personal nature has become second nature as internet is a free platform: self advertising costs nothing!!!
"The gentleman understands righteousness, the petty man understands interest." Chinese Proverb.
I have observed that as a consequence of my analysis of my failures, I have had an effective target audience whenever I have remained behind the scene aka "anony". It is more like the blind trying to speak with his fingers.
Am a romantic whose thoughts run deep and still, mushy and vibrant, a rainbow of images constantly being drawn in the canvas you know as "water"..only the artist knows the sequence of the thoughts as the ripples create a new canvas every time the artist wades. hahaha
